So, day before yesterday, my car, a 2001 Ford Mustang (it’s a convertible and I named her Andromeda Ascendant, full disclosure) would not start. Turns out that the fuel pump is completely gone, which is very normal in a Ford of this age (also normal for most GMs). To replace the pump and filter (because you don’t want to burn out a new pump), pay for labor and the tow that got the car to the garage, it’s going to come out to $1000 and some change once tax is factored in.

Yeah.

Momma could use some help.

I know most of you are bidding on things for Magick4Terri (which is far more important than this), but if you are looking for gifts for Yule, I could use the help.

So!

In no particular order!

Print Sale!

8x10s for $20! (this includes the shipping)

These are the prints!

Make sure you indicate which print you want and make sure your shipping addy is correct.

If there’s one that you want that you don’t see, just email me and ask: angela.n.hunt@gmail.com

The print I want:

Also, have a coupon if you’d rather have one of the prints over on Ye Olde Etsy! Enter code: FUELPUMP at checkout and get 15% off anything there.

Rather have a book? Don’t forget Hunt Press. Right now, enter code: COUNTDOWN and get 25% of any order. If you buy a calendar from us, enter code: SOCIAL50 and get 50% off (calendars only).

I’m also just putting up a straight donation button, because even a dollar will help me out. If that’s too dear, I ask, from the bottom of my heart, that you spread the word.

Most excellent and awesome news from the orthopedist: not only no nerve damage, but absolutely no ligament damage either.

Thank you, everyone. Thank you, dear sweet gods.

Thank you to Denison for getting her to the ortho and thank you to the MiL who also has been helping watch out for Barrie this week. We survived yesterday with no big whoop, as while Barrie is still crutching around, she can now at least manage the kitchen and getting herself to the teapot. This is a big deal. Now if only small children would get with the program and be a wee bit more helpful.

Have started application of lots of Arnica Montana both going in and as topical ointment. Topical is doing huge things already. Her feet have ceased to be purple color and are doing that gorgeous rainbow spectrum that bruising goes through as it productively heals.

Again, please keep the prayers/energy/good vibes coming. She's already moving around so much better just in the last 24 hours. At this point, it's any rotation movement that's causing horrible agony. Keeping the feet straight, she can almost pretend to be okay.

Bills still en route, but I think we're only waiting on the last three now. Print sale and art show deals are still in full force and effect and will stay so through the end of October.

All the details are here in the previous post:

Again, I love you all. If ever anyone needs proof that there are good humans in the world and not all need be lost, I am trotting all of you out as proof.

Y'all are awesome.

I would have edited last night, but... Now my computer is dying. It apparently felt a lack of solidarity with the husband's and the Ant's machines and now it goes into a weird fit after an hour of being on and just... Shuts down. Well, the screen dies and it sits there humming and won't come back on until I hard reboot it.

*sigh*

No money for a new computer. In the brief times it's been on, I've been backing it up over the network to the Ant's now working machine. I have a lot of photographs. The images took the longest time to transfer. But they and most of my current writing are now backed up, praise Crom. Now to get the rest of the damn machine backed up...

So.

No bueno.

In the meantime, we've put in an application for a rental that we really like. Everyone please, please, please cross your fingers and pray for us that the nice man will like us and give us the house. It's in a super nice neighborhood on a cul de sac. Not a gang banger in sight. In a good school district.

I also got some work in on Broken Rainbow yesterday and voila, I feel better than I have in weeks. Broken in chunks or not, I apparently was upset that I wasn't working on it. So. Back to work.

I think that's the update. Broken computer, possible new house, writing accomplished. And gestating.

Oh yes, note to the masses, I'm going to be trying to offload extra art before moving. If there's a piece you've always wanted, please let me know, I'll check what's in the house. Make me an offer. I don't want to move it all. Cause, dude... It's a lot of art.
