Clinging to the Schedule...
Jul. 10th, 2006 10:00 pmBy tooth and nail at this point. I can't tell you how much it irks me that the firewall at work won't let me update anymore.
*sigh*
Oh well.
Moving on.
First full week in two weeks and my schedule is booked. Who's surprised? Not me. Must run to the drycleaners tomorrow and to the UPS store so I can send N her photographs. I'm thrilled. First deposit in the new business account and an auspicious beginning.
In less auspicious news, my iPod has succumbed to Mercury Rx and has gone schizophrenic.
We are not amused. It's the only thing that keeps me sane at work.
The husband has agreed to fix it or find a way to get it fixed, so I breathe a sigh of relief. In the meantime, I am also irked that it ate my KT Tunstall music. I really needed to hear Black Horse and the Cherry Tree today.
Oh well.
Got no writing done today. May lose my little mind. But I got work done on the business and one of the entries mailed to one of the juried shows coming up.
Oh, and I got a calendar print done. Check out http://www.cafepress.com/bdmedia tomorrow to see it! Cheap! Makes a great gift! I'm actually doing it so I have some giveaways at the book launch/art show I'm planning. Must have goodies! I'm thinking magnets too, but I haven't decided entirely.
Anybody have any ideas for neat (and cheap) artistic/writerly type giveaways, I'd love to hear it and I'll make sure to send two (2!) to the person who comes up with the best idea. Think fun! And I don't mean pens.
In the meantime, I must crawl to bed before I pass out.
It was a long fucking day.
Oh. And note to people who don't have children: unless my child is annoying you, don't tell me how to raise mine. Consider this my only warning.
And no. I won't say what brought it on. I'll only say that work was a trifle more irritating than normal today.
