Jun. 23rd, 2010 09:23 amMy morning got started by a scam artist calling me at work. I've set my husband on them now to suck them dry of info so we can have a full report to give to the FTC and the FBI and other authorities.
This is the strange upside to having been scammed so thoroughly two years ago. Between Countrywide, the asshole and the art scammers in the UK, I am the definition of suspicious when someone calls me saying that they're going to arrest me if I don't pay them.
Um, jackass, we don't have debtors prisons anymore and you just violated about three FTC regs even *saying* that to me. Here comes my answering rocket.
Yeah. Good morning, Anji.

But otherwise, the day is good. Energy is shifting and I got enough sleep.
If I've learned anything in this life so far, it's this. That which leaves you alive? You can recover from. You can climb out of the hole you're in and survive. Two years ago, things were pretty bad. When I was 19, and I wrecked my car and was in chronic hideous pain, that was pretty fucking bad. When my parents announced their divorce, that sucked too.
But I lived. I drew breath. I got up. Again.
Life can knock us down.
But as long as I breathe, (with apologies to Terry Pratchett), I put on the copper armor and trudge up the hill in the lightning storm to scream:
"All gods are bastards!"
Because, damn them all, until this life kills me, I'll scream defiance to the last.

I think sushi for lunch. Yes. Raw something is suitable.
