Holy crap, we have a President-Elect who can speak in full and complete sentences.
Who is gracious and humble, even in victory.
It's weird, I used to think my parents were weird when they talked about how they felt about John F. Kennedy. I got that he was a great man and a great president, but not the rest of it.
Last night, I got it. Boy, did I get it.
It is the hope and belief that as a nation, we can correct our course. It is the faith and perseverence that we will come together and be better than our parts, be better than our past. It is the simple fact that at the end of the day, the grand experiment has yet to fail and we still are a nation of ideals, of liberty, and equality.
This is the United States of America that I believe in. This is the nation I love.
