Sorry for being a day late on this. Yesterday was a bit crazed.

Anyway, first of the black & whites. Yay!

Tech detail: to get the angle, I'm standing on a stool here. Some day, I'll have a studio with a tall ladder. Yes. Some day.

I am a little down today. Saw the possible new house last night. It's very nice.

But there's no room for a studio space. So I'll be losing a studio with the move.

I rather knew that intellectually, since we can't afford anything else. But being faced with it (and no back yard to speak of), it's hit me hard. I'll be able to shoot in the garage like I used to, back in San Francisco, but I won't be able to work out there. It's a garage.

Yeah. So. A little down.

I tell myself that some day I'll have a real studio some place close to wherever I live, if not in the back yard and a home in a neighborhood that doesn't have drive by shootings. At least with this place, the fear of random bullets is pretty much gone. It's very quiet and safe.

*shakes it off*

Oh well. As I remind myself, we won't be homeless and it's a nice house. My creative life is just going to have to go back in boxes for a while.
