Monday, and Back to it
Aug. 14th, 2006 06:20 am*big sigh*
Yeah. It's Monday. Back to the day job today.
Vacation was wonderful. I could use another week of it. I could use about a year of it, but the sad fact is, the mortgage still requires me to do the day job thingie for now. Yet another reason to commit as deeply as possible to making the press successful.
Yesterday was relatively quiet and I managed to dig out a huge portion of my desk from the paper snowfall that had overtaken it. I've still got more to file and I've run out of file folders *again*, but it's nowhere near as dire as it was. So. Thank Crom for small favors.
In other related news, The Wishing Coin is finally up and listed on Amazon, which tickled me so pink I could hardly see straight. Today, I make the final corrections on Messy Divorce and it'll join TWC on Amazon in a few short weeks. Woot! Now to write a press release...
Tomorrow, I'll have a review of an acquaintance's book, City of Pillars. If you dig Cthulu mythos/Lovecraft, you'll dig this.
And that's about it. Here's hoping my Outlook doesn't spontaneously combust when I open it when I get to work. Everyone cross your fingers.
