So.

Got a full time gig downtown. It's temp and for an indefinite amount of time, but that's just peachy with me.

I'm not thrilled to be heading downtown every day, but it's consistent work.

I never thought I'd say this, but I'm also looking forward to being back in a more formal, corporate environment. Weird, I know. But I'm burnt on small businesses.

So, to a bank, I go!

In other news, I've gotten no writing done and no work on photos or art. I've been sewing like a fiend for Labyrinth of Jareth, which is in, oh, nine days. I think I'll have my dress done in time. So far, it's shaping up well. Skirt is pinned together (OMFG, the damn pleating) and all that's left is the petticoat and a ton o' trim.

Have decided to paint on a black mask, a la Marie Antoinette. It seemed appropriate, considering the period of the dress. Or it'll be white, in honor of Adam Ant.

There was more in my head, but it has evaporated.
