What They Don't Teach You About Economics

It's long. It's worth it. It's chock full of the kind of education on economics that you probably never got in school. It's Steve Forbes, who is no fucking dummy.
I don't agree with him 100%, but then I don't agree with Ayn Rand 100% and I consider her a personal hero/muse. I don't know if we can get a Gold Standard back (but we should). I don't believe that large corps will ever act out of economic reality and not political reality.
But he has an innate faith in true capitalism, the same way that Ayn did, the same way that acknowledges we've never really had it.
For extra credit, find and read a copy of Ayn's, Capitalism: The Unknown Ideal. I personally will probably re-read it soon.
Oh FYI: I don't debate Objectivism with anyone unless they've actually read the source material. If you haven't, forgive the bluntness, but shut the fuck up and keep your opinion to yourself.
