Yeah. About the computer.

Well. I got the memory cards in. And it runs faster. And smoother. And isn't making one of the funny noises anymore.

So I went to update the machine.

Yeah.

It goes straight to the same fault the minute it gets done inspecting the computer to do the install. Doesn't install. Just dies.

*glares at computer*

Oh, and it rebooted itself for no reason last night when I did have it working for a while.

I need a new computer.

So it goes on the list with the repair work the Ant's car needs, various bills, business taxes, a new camera and/or flash unit and diffuser, the white vinyl backdrop, the lightbox, the flashpak, and other things I'm sure I'm forgetting. The list keeps getting longer. And yes, my camera isn't consistently working either. Granted, I've abused the crap out of it, and it's not a pro grade model, it's a prosumer model.

I'm discouraged more than depressed. I was really hoping that this would be the fix. I was really hoping that I'd have at least one thing up and running. No dice and no such luck. It is what it is. Nothing for it right now.

Someone buy a painting/photograph. I have a new computer to buy. :)
