Though this could easily be titled Pooka II. But I was getting tired and as of this morning…
All the photographs from the desert have finally been edited. Though I’m still uploading. Woof.

In other news, the Scan the Negatives Campaign is at 3% as of today, which is rather something, considering most folks aren’t on the internet on the weekend, so I am very grateful and very hopeful.
It has brought up some interesting issues, but I think that’s to be expected. Crowdfunding is still growing and changing and with the successes (and spectacular failures) that are out there, everyone has an opinion and are very free with it. It is what it is.
I guess I just have more faith in humanity than some. I know that together we can do amazing things. I know that art, and in this case, the preservation of art, by the fact of its very existence, makes the World a better place. If that makes me sound crazy, well, all rightie then. That works for me.
I also know the value of the work that’s trapped in the negatives in my office right now. It approaches priceless. But not everyone agrees with that assessment, and that is perfectly fine. The ones who do… Well, you’ve been with me for a while and I know there are more of you out there.
*You* are the reason I keep on keeping on. *You* are the reason I have such faith in the World. *You* are the reason I know that the work will get saved.
And I am grateful for that fact beyond words.
