From the Vault: Wedding Strawberries

Last September, I was honored to be asked to take the photographs for my friends, Liz & Eric, on their marriage day. They hired me to shoot a couple of hours, and my wedding gift to them was to shoot the whole day instead. By the time night fell, I had shot over a thousand images.
One of the things I specifically did, beside the usual wedding shots, was take photos like these. Moments that captured the overall amazing sweetness of the day.
A bowl of strawberries, perfect as could be.
There’s really only one meaning for me with this: life is sweet. Dig in.

Date: 2012-08-08 06:57 pm (UTC)NOT every photographer would think to shoot a bowl of berries, a blue jay posing on a fence post, a baby lying on the bed of the bride's changing room among dresses and shoes and bags...
We can never thank you enough for the amazing work you did on our wedding day. We honestly expected only the 3 hours of shooting we paid for--we are honored that you spent so much time and energy giving us such a beautiful record of our celebration.
