Back in the saddle today.

Reception was fabulous. To everyone who rolled out to Between Heaven and Hell at the Hangar, you are all made of awesome.

As for D-land, I am sunburned and I think the Mouse had a good time, though the Bean had two screaming meltdowns as per her contract. Now to just prep for the Ant's birthday in seven days.

Yeah. It never stops around here. From now till the end of the year, it's going to be non-stop.

I'll have a Dear Lazyweb going up next. Pre-production on Vaudeville Goes to Hell is starting up. And I need to get writing. I also need to work on concept photos.

Actor/Prop/Costume/Venue Request: Vaudeville Goes to Hell

This is early days, yes, but pre-production has officially begun for Vaudeville Goes to Hell. And this is where you, yes YOU, come in. You know the drill by now: I'm looking for the following to do a photo shoot to put together the concept art.


I'm looking for performers as the following:

The Cat Herders

The Acrobat - I have a volunteer

The Burlesque Trio - I only have one intrepid soul and I need two more.  Edit: make that three.

The Stage Manager - I may play this role if I can't find a body.  Don't do that to me.

The Road Manager - I have a line on this one, but he hasn't said yes yet.

The Comedian (or Comedienne) - ditto on a line.   Done!

The Young Lovers (“Get him away from me!”) - I got nada.  Must act lovey dovey on stage, throw things off.

The Diva - do I need to explain?

The Ingenue - help!

The Tap Dancers - ditto!

The Devil - and he's perfect

The Voice of God - ditto

The Devil's Attorney - need someone slick


Props Needed:

The Contract

Heavy pen

A heavy rope

Silks, preferably in red, but whatever you've got

Pack o' cigarettes

Cigars

Costumes:

The Ant and I will probably make most of this, but if someone wants to design and construct for the shoot and film, I will not say no.

Obvee costumes for all of the above as well as:

Carmen Miranda type costume, including headdress o' fruit

Shabby Dogsuit

Robes/kimonos for performers in between costumes - one down, more would be lovely

Location/Venue:

A rundown theater

A rundown bar

A crossroads in the middle of frikken' nowhere

And as always, I'll add/subtract to this as I go.  Any and all feedback, welcome!

This will be for Deferred Pay and will be a SAG Low Budget Production, so if you are Union, don't worry.  I will have the agreement in hand and yes, there will be pay.
