Saw Quantum of Solace with the husband last night.

Oh.

It was lovely and delicious. I loved it. I want to see it again *right now*. Dame Judi is more and more my favorite M and Daniel Craig has truly come into his own as Bond. Glorious. And the guy playing Felix Leiter is now my favorite out of the multiple actors who've played the roll. He nails it and the warped friendship with Bond. Nails it.

Loved it. All of it.

I even forgive them for the Aston Martin Vanquish brutality. Awesome car chase.

It's Friday. Still no pictures, because I was at a theater last night, worshiping my obsession.

Got plenty written on Broken Rainbow and I'm sticking with the pace for NaNo.

I'm packing up the paints and painting supplies in prep for the move. I'm debating parring it down to just the paint box, since I don't know how much room we'll have in a new place. I have a lot of paint now. Actually, we have a metric ton of art supplies. I have gifted all the crayons to Jane. I'm finding it hard to part with my Koi watercolors.

I've got one tiny canvas to finish for the Mouse. She asked for her very own sky horse for her room. How can I refuse?

I had time to grieve the whole maternity/pregnancy disability crap. The movie helped get my mind off of things as well.

Today's better. I'll take what I can get.

HEE!!!

Agency historian has just released a three volume history of the NSA during the Cold War. The fourth volume is apparently still classified Top Secret Umbra.

If the gods loved me, I would own this in hardcover to go with all my other espionage non-fiction books, next to The Puzzle Palace, Every Spy a Prince, and The Codebreakers.

Cryptography! SQUEEE!

I know. I'm weird. I love James Bond books/films in the same brain with hardcore real world espionage history/analysis. I blame my father.

My turn...

This actually completely and utterly explains things to me finally. I've been feeling so stupid for what happened this past year, getting taken in by the asshole.

But now I get it. I just wish I'd known this sooner.

Oh well. Live and learn.
