I am elbows deep in Tax Season.
I am happy as a clam.
I know. I’m a freak. But I love doing taxes for folks. I love using this part of my brain and making people’s lives easier by handling something that for me is fun, but causes huge anxiety for them. I, honest to dog, find it soothing. Bookkeeping too. My own little piece of Number Heaven.

Not much else going on. Aside from morning pages, I’ve gotten very little writing done and I’m starting to twitch. On the upside, I have now found all three versions of Vaudeville Goes to Hell. Hopefully one of them has the missing song the Lawyer sings. I still have photos that need processing too.
In the meantime, I have gardened and the yard almost looks presentable, though I need to acquire a long-handled weeding tool to be able to clear out the Rose Bed of Doom. I still require one more pot and more soil, but once that’s done, it’s going to be time to finish the final pruning and fertilize so the plant babies have enough food for spring growth.
House isn’t much better. Tax season tends to suck all my energy. I only go out to garden, because I have to water.
In the meantime, the house is blessedly quiet and calm right now, knock wood. *looks up from computer suspiciously* I wonder what my children are up to…
