Apparently getting extra sleep and an early morning shower do a lot to set me to rights. I get enough coffee in me and I may live.

Going to see about doing this: alwaysdowrite.blogspot.com/2010/03/worst-storyline-ever-contest.html

18,108 words on The Mad Scientist's Beautiful Daughter at lunch, while listening to Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue. #amwriting

So, I looked at my short story/gallery/art submission log for the first time since...

2008.

:O

Yes, I was pregnant and then the Bean has been a small baby for almost exactly the time of no sending out of work. And compared to the Mouse's time in womb, I managed to write this time around, which the first time I did not. It was like Mouse's gestation ate my Writer Brain. The Bean was far kinder.

But the working aspect of working artist/writer, apparently took the same hit as before.

*headdesk again*

I knew it was bad, I had no idea it was this bad.

It turns out that I have four short stories sitting ready for the great Electronic Transom. Before I wander over to Ralan.org and start poking at markets, is there a market that any of you particularly love that you think I should look into first? And ditto for galleries/alternative venues for art/photography/paintings.
