It's been four years today since Betsy died. Same year as Tassie, only a month and a half later.

I don't have the sharp grief. I just have a dull anger.

I know she's happy in the Summerlands. I know she has her horses and her freedom. But I miss her. I know that she and the Mouse would find so much to share, their love of animals, and the ocean. I know she would think that the Bean was just a hoot with her full belly laugh of joy.

I miss you, Betsy.
