So happy with the quality of the black and whites now. They've not been my favorites till now. This series and these filters now? I think you can expect to see an uptick in black and white work.

My head hurts. The smoke continues to kill me downtown, but this is how the desert grows.

I got more work done on Dark Lightning. If I could get the transcription done on Strange Weather, I'd be a much happier camper.

I hope I get anything done tonight, to be honest. It's all been household errands lately. The Mouse starts school next week, the Bean has a pediatrician appointment tomorrow, and everyone has all sorts of things that need doing.

Even with the fire and the heat in the air, even so, I feel Autumn coming with the shortening daylight hours. Not in coolness yet. More a color of the light.

I have no real way to decorate the new house and that hurts my heart a bit. The old house had room for seasonal nonsense and this place does not. I may put up tiny shelves for small altars. It's not a lot, but it's time to make room for the changing leaves. Leaves change, even here.
