And now we're *really* going back in time.
This was the *second* time the Mad Model ever posed for me and in my very first studio, the garage of the condo I lived in out in Pacifica, land of perpetual mist and fog. Here, for the first time, I threw fabric at her and said, "Do something with this," having pinned the top of the satin to the top of the drop.
Here, I started to build my vocabulary around nude photography and what I was trying to say about physical beauty and sexuality.
What pleases me the most is how well the work has held up. I really should scan the rest of the sequence and post it for you all. It was and remains a fantastic series.
And of course, you can see how from the beginning, the Mad Model just shined for my camera.

I got to play with my laptop last night. Good gods, it's a lot of work to get back up to speed, but oh, the relief of not having to worry about jumping off mid project or task. The sheer joy!
I cleaned off my desk last night. It's been snowed in by paper for, well, since we moved in. Tonight, I'm going to start installing software and transfering over the working files. It's not meaty enough for me to move everything over, but that's why I have an external hard drive now to hold the inactive files, as well as for the peace of mind of having an external backup.
Life is good, art wise. I can get back to it!

LAKERS WON LAST NIGHT!
That is all.

Day is probably going to be insane again. Short staffed at the dayjob. Pray for me.
And on that note, back to it for me!
