Veil of Stars
Feb. 23rd, 2007 07:00 pmMore fun with fabric and Photoshop.
The colors are subtle in this one, but at the large size, it's really cool.

Today's going to be a long day. Meeting at the dayjob that will go for most of the day and then I'm off to run assorted errands. I also didn't sleep well, so I'm already facing the day at a deficit.
Clouds are all gone this morning too. No more rain. I am a little sad about that. The rain was lovely. There has to be a happy medium somewhere. A couple of days of consecutive rain is fine. It's the days and days of rain that I remember from Northen CA that would wear on me. Here in the desert, it rains fast and then it's gone.
But enough of the weather.
I wrote this entire long thing about art and negativity and how negativity is a bad thing to have around your art. And I deleted it. I realized I don't want to give it any energy.
I love my art. I love what I'm doing. Will I ever be able to make a living at it? Yeah, I think so. I'm in it for the long haul. The rest is just details.
The world is too beautiful in places and life is too short to waste it. After all, nobody gets out alive. So color me working on leaving the place a bit better than I found it.
Yeah.
