I still have trouble with that voice in the back of my head that says "Oh you really could do XYZ if you really put effort into it. You're just being lazy!" It pipes up with the same old tired rhetoric whether I'm trying to do something like cook a huge meal on a good day, or whether I'm trying to not fall out of my car on a bad day.

That voice--it lies.
